Part of a bigger scam which has now been reported to the authorities. Very disappointed in Scam Watcher that this person was able to do it via your site. Without their involvement I would not have been scammed

I completely understand your frustration, but it's important to remember that our site works hard to maintain a safe environment for all users: we delete and ban hundreds of suspicious content and users everyday. Unfortunately, despite this and the limitations we've set in the messaging feature to prevent abuse, there are individuals who take advantage of the messaging feature (which is only moderated by bots for privacy) for their own gain. It's crucial to exercise caution and skepticism when interacting with strangers online: we even provide users with an indicator about the estimated safety of the person who chats with you in the private messages.
