| Scam contents | You may get a random check and letter from this fake company. This is a FAKE CHECK scam. They claim it's a simple job to get feedback on customer service while you do these tasks - go and get gift cards via the (fake) check they provide. Only the check is fake and they want you to get the funds/spend it before your bank catches it. This can take days to weeks, depending on the bank. Deposited check funds need to be available due to bank laws, just because it went through and you see funds does NOT mean it's 100% good. If you deposit, send the gift cards to the scammer then you have no way to get that money back. You will be responsible for it and to pay back the bank what was taken from them. |
